Where the Heck.....?!?....

have I been?
Honestly, hmmm... I've been recovering from my old job, the sweatshop, in Santana Row. While their and massaging, doing about 80 sessions a month, my body began to hurt. Yet, my manager refused to give me or anyone breaks or lunches if she could make a buck. She actually said to me,"If you take a break, so & so takes a break and so does so&so, that's 3 hours where I'm not making any money."

I also felt bullied by her. She was giving me a difficult time on a Tuesday. That night I wrote an e-mail stating the end of the week would be my last day due to the damage/pain in my wrist caused by massages and zero breaks. She was shocked. I called her bluff. I don't have a difficult time finding a job.

While all of this pain was occurring I was unable to type, write letters or even hold the phone for long periods of time. I am pleased to say (and encourage others to go) Sean at Body Restoration has helped me beyond other methods. www.bowenpainease.com

Lately, I have been slacking with my exercises. My own fault. I have to take responsibility for my healing and maintaining my health. Hence, I've laid off the booze for a bit, sugar, and other processed foods. So far so good.

I took a couple months off. Got a new job and met some wonderful people. My co-worker's rock! I stay out too late and drink too many beers with them. Good thing I don't have to be into work until 11 most days. I'm also looking at getting a better job. One with more possibilities, mentoring, and possibly along public transit. The down side of public transit: I'm going to need a portable Sirius unit. How else will I be able to listen to all my fave channels? Bigs ups - save money and not polluting the air.

On a different note, why is 80's fashion back? I swear it was one of the worst periods of dress. Please bring back the corset before you bring back the 80's. Neon is back. Really? Maybe Kryolan neon shadows, but shirts and pants? I say no!

The big news of late is that I'm working on dating again. Maybe I'll have some war stories to share or some bliss.
Peace, y'all!
